Well, outside of the fact that we guarantee to pass on the cards with no exceptions, unlike the scammers that have plagued this market, we are also showing full transparency when it comes to the costs and fees associated with each break. Our TrueBreaks pricing model is intended to be 100% transparent to all of our customers. Case pricing is based on a 10% price adjustment to our total net cost. Box pricing is based on a 20% price adjustment to our total net cost. Pack pricing is based on a 30% price adjustments to our total net cost.
We are excited to begin our first TrueBreaks live streaming event with the opening of the 2018 Topps Update Baseball Factory Sealed Jumbo Case. If you would like to be a part of our live break, simply purchase your packs on this page and we will make sure your packs are pulled during the live stream.
Please remember that you have been billed for shipping at the time of purchase but may be required to pay additional shipping and insurance fees if your cards require it.
TrueBreaks Rules and Information:
Pack Purchases: We will not open factory sealed box until we have sold every pack. Once every pack in a box has been sold, the box will be opened live and all the packs will be removed from the box and shuffled. Numbers will then be randomly assigned to each pack and the packs will be distributed to the buyers in the order of their number. (ie. if you are the first buyer, and you purchase five packs, then we will assign packs numbered 1 through 5 to you)
Live Breaks: All breaks will be done streamed live on our YouTube channel @maxwaxpax. When possible, we will multi-stream on other platforms as well but our main focus will remain YouTube.
Cameras: Cameras are set up above the table and will record the entire package rip. This is different from the standard camera angle which is located in front of the person opening the packs and allows us to make sure all cards remain in clear view of the stream audience.
Video Settings: All live streams will be set for 16:9 widescreen to avoid any risk of moving the cards or packs out of the audience view. This is why we will not be able to stream live on any platform that does not support this video format.
Shipping and Fees: Each card will be sleeved and then packed for shipping. Cards with values of $200.00 or more will have additional shipping and insurance fees added. Those fees will be paid by the buyer prior to shipping the cards out. In the event that a card is sent to be graded with PSA, the buyer agrees to pay all increased shipping and insurance fees for the newly graded card(s).
Grading with PSA: Buyers may choose to have MaxWaxPax send a pulled to PSA for grading. Once the card is graded and returned back to MaxWaxPax, the buyer agrees to reimburse MaxWaxPax for all PSA invoiced grading fees for that specific card or cards. When requested, the buyer agrees to pay estimated grading fees prior to MaxWaxPax sending the cards to PSA.
Unsold Packs: MaxWaxPax may choose to participate in a TrueBreaks stream by purchasing any unsold packs.
Refunds: There are no refunds whatsoever. All sales are final.
Purchase and Guarantee: The buyer is purchasing a factory sealed item and is requesting that this item be opened during a TrueBreaks live stream. The buyer understands that the contents of the factory sealed item is unknown and it in no way guaranteed to be equal to, or greater, than the purchase price.
